About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren Blackerby (she/her), LMHC, ATR

(Licensed in Massachusetts - virtual sessions only)

A woman with curly brown hair, wearing glasses and a nose ring, smiles at the camera, sitting in front of a greenish textured wall and upholstered chair.

I help women with ADHD navigate life’s big transitions with compassion and creativity.

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by the mental load, trying to manage everything and wondering why it still feels so hard. Maybe things have never felt as simple or smooth as they seem for others - and you're ready to finally make sense of that. Maybe you’re just craving a space where you don’t have to explain or hide parts of yourself.

My clients often come to therapy tired of masking, burnt out from expectations, and unsure of where to begin. Together, we figure that out. I offer therapy that’s supportive, flexible, and grounded in the belief that there’s nothing wrong with your brain - you just haven’t been given the right tools yet.

My Approach

I combine talk therapy and art therapy in a way that meets you where you are. I offer practical tools such as mindfulness, breathwork, and grounding skills to help you find stillness and rest. I allow the space and support for you to decide what tools you want to incorporate and what works best for you.

From a place of stillness we can begin to reflect on how our thoughts or behaviors might be keeping us stuck and explore ways to shift patterns of thinking so that we are able to make the changes we want.

I also teach clients skills to help them better manage the specific challenges they experience from ADHD, from support with time management to challenging negative self talk.

Therapy with me is warm, human, and collaborative. I show up as myself so you can feel safe showing up as you.

Outside the Therapy Room

I became a therapist because I genuinely love helping people. Outside of session, I am either finding ways to incorporate movement into my day, enjoying a cup of tea, or spending time with my family. These things ground me - and I bring that grounded presence into the therapy space.
