About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren Blackerby, LMHC, ATR

(Licensed in Massachusetts - virtual sessions only)

A woman with curly brown hair, wearing glasses and a nose ring, smiles at the camera, sitting in front of a greenish textured wall and upholstered chair.

I help women with ADHD navigate life’s big transitions with compassion, creativity, and just the right dose of humor.

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by the mental load, trying to manage everything and wondering why it still feels so hard. Maybe things have never felt as simple or smooth as they seem for others - and you're ready to finally make sense of that. Maybe you’re just craving a space where you don’t have to explain or hide parts of yourself.

My clients often come to therapy tired of masking, burnt out from expectations, and unsure of where to begin. Together, we figure that out. I offer therapy that’s supportive, flexible, and grounded in the belief that there’s nothing wrong with your brain - you just haven’t been given the right tools yet.

My Approach

I combine talk therapy and art therapy in a way that meets you where you are. That might mean deep conversation, creative expression, or both. You don’t need to be “artistic” to try art therapy - it’s just another way of connecting with yourself when words fall short.

Therapy with me is warm, human, and collaborative. I show up as myself so you can feel safe showing up as you.

Outside the Therapy Room

I became a therapist because I genuinely love helping people. Outside of session, you’ll usually find me reading a good book, drinking tea, practicing yoga, or spending time with my family in nature. These things ground me - and I bring that grounded presence into the therapy space.
